About the Role

Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance is seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install home appliances and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Accurately diagnose and repair appliances and equipment in the customer's home, providing cost estimates and collecting payment as needed.
  • Develop new customers by identifying opportunities to sell additional work and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficiency in navigating tablet-based technology.
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance.
  • Physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
