Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care at a proficient level, ensuring a safe environment and optimizing outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the environment and orient the patient for procedures, reviewing medical records to ensure safety checklists are complete.
  • Respond to life-threatening situations, utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment, and handle critical and highly stressful situations with composure.
  • Provide nursing care in a technically complex environment, evaluating learning needs of patients and families, and providing education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Work independently, making decisions with minimal supervision, and take appropriate action in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Credentials: Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program, preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Experience: 6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
