The District Loss Prevention Manager (DLPM) plays a crucial role in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, collaborating closely with Store Operations to enhance customer experiences. With a strong emphasis on leadership, team development, and fostering collaborative relationships, the DLPM tackles the complexities of the current loss prevention landscape by building effective partnerships with store and regional leadership, as well as law enforcement agencies. This role is responsible for formulating and implementing loss prevention policies and procedures aimed at ensuring profitability while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Successful candidates for the DLPM position embody a servant leadership philosophy, adopt a hands-on approach to team development, and maintain an open mindset to innovative solutions.
- Oversee a team of 7-12 Loss Prevention Associates across various levels.
- Conduct investigations into theft incidents; identify and rectify shrinkage control issues.
- Collaborate with district and store management to pinpoint shrinkage priorities and devise effective shrink reduction strategies within the designated district.
- Organize and deliver comprehensive Loss Prevention Training and Orientation sessions; provide ongoing developmental training.
- Support core values such as Customer Service, Open Communication, Diversity, Safety, and Legal Compliance.
- Manage staffing needs; recruit, interview, and onboard Loss Prevention personnel.
- Effectively mentor, train, and develop all members of the loss prevention team within the district.
Ideal Candidate Profile: You.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a multi-unit loss prevention capacity.
- Proven ability to collaborate with loss prevention and operations leaders to effectively mitigate shrinkage.
- Familiarity with contemporary loss prevention techniques and shrinkage strategies.
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- Understanding of retail operations.
- Excellent investigative and interviewing skills.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,500 to $102,700 annually.
Actual starting compensation is influenced by various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
This role is eligible for annual incentives as well as long-term incentive opportunities.
