About the Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing top-notch customer service and sales support to our customers. You will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions
  • Operating our technology-based Point of Sale system to complete sales transactions
  • Installing large and small batteries in various devices
  • Disassembling and reassembling phones and tablets to complete repairs
  • Working collaboratively with our team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
What We Offer

As a Retail Sales Associate at Batteries Plus Bulbs, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A base hourly rate of $22-$25, with opportunities to earn more through individual and team sales incentives
  • A $2 per hour pay increase for weekend shift hours worked, and a $3 per hour pay increase for overtime weekend hours worked
  • Dedicated one-on-one paid training for the first 2-3 weeks
  • A fun and dynamic work environment with a team-oriented culture
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • A comprehensive understanding of our store products and services
  • Advanced customer service skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Basic math skills and the ability to use a cash register
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and professional demeanor
Physical Requirements

This role requires regular standing, walking, and use of hands to handle or touch, as well as frequent talking and hearing. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach above shoulders, and lift more than 50 pounds.
