Remote SBA Lender Opportunity

A reputable bank is seeking a skilled SBA lender to join their team in a remote work-from-home setting. As a preferred SBA lender, this organization values a long-standing reputation and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new loan business through direct calling on referrals from inside and outside bank partners.
  • Meet and exceed production-related goals on new loans.
  • Screen out non-target deals efficiently and collect necessary information from loan applicants.
  • Participate in weekly pipeline sales meetings and respond to credit department questions.
  • Effectively present information to senior management and work with customers throughout the application and closing process.
  • Establish strong referral networks and relationships with commercial real estate brokers, loan brokers, CPAs, and other referral sources.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of lending-related legal and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Participate in regular sales and marketing meetings and events to promote the bank's products and services.

Requirements:
  • A proven track record of success in building one's own SBA loan portfolio.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • A mindset of abundance and a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to preflight a deal to determine creditworthiness.
  • 5+ years of 7(a) lending experience.
  • A history of producing $10MM+/year.
  • Almost or 100% self-sourced.
  • A community bank background is preferred.
