Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct bi-weekly assessments of project outputs through shared 'redlines' with the Team Lead Manager.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing teams of 10-12, including external consultants.
  • Effectively execute consultant coordination milestones and timelines with minimal oversight.
  • Facilitate clear verbal, graphic, and written communication across project teams.
  • Align project budgets and schedules in collaboration with the Project Architect and Project Manager.
  • Ensure accountability for comprehensive project deliverables, showcasing knowledge of JLG production standards with a strong emphasis on building codes and detailing.
  • Propose solutions that uphold design intent, comply with codes, and reflect best construction practices.
  • Mentor and train Project Associates through peer reviews and invest in their professional development through delegated project responsibilities.
  • Oversee and respond to all facets of the Construction Administration process.
  • Lead initiatives for Design Excellence on projects through critical evaluation of design solutions and the application of sustainability software.
  • Exemplify integrity and set a standard for JLGer conduct, ensuring work is completed promptly and to the highest quality standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, including internships.
  • Registered architect or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Successful completion of AXP as evidenced by an NCARB record.
  • Advanced understanding of building codes and building science.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience, including internships.
  • Ability to manage job functions on projects valued up to $70 million.
  • A comprehensive project portfolio demonstrating experience with a minimum of $250 million in construction value.
  • Advanced knowledge of project budget management, evidenced by cost analysis on at least five projects.
