The Library Operations department at Florida International University is seeking a student assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the library. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain valuable experience and skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist staff with various tasks and projects
- Provide general information to students, staff, and faculty
- Perform errands and other duties as assigned
- Develop skills in customer service, teamwork, and time management
- Enrolled at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate
- Awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- A competitive hourly rate of $12.00
