Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. As a key member of our Inpatient Palliative Care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced level of nursing evaluation, clinical assessment, and follow-up care for patients
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, and ongoing medication management
  • Collaborate with the medical staff, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations according to established standards

Requirements:

  • ARNP license in the State of Washington or ability to obtain during onboarding process
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
