Restaurant General Manager Opportunity at Pier Sixty-Six Resort

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Pier Sixty-Six Resort. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for leading the restaurant operation, including bar operation, and ensuring exceptional five-star service.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement departmental strategies to meet brand service standards and initiatives.
  • Ensure the food and beverage/culinary operation meets the brand's target customer needs and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing financial performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies for any restaurant that delivers products and services to exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customers and property employees.
  • Selection and development of talent management for our team.
  • Working closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team in designing the menus and beverage lists.
  • Controlling costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory control, and cost control measures.
  • Highly visible in the operation, providing recognition, promoting good public relations, and taking care of special requests with dedication to providing an attentive and distinctive experience for our guests.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong, innovative mindset.
  • The ability to react and adjust to changing business environments and lead the team in ensuring efficient financial management of the business.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
  • Applicants are required to have at least 2 to 3 years of experience.
  • Must possess valid Food Handler's card and TIPs certification.
  • Knowledge of Forbes service standards.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Advanced wine and spirit knowledge and service training.
