Job Description

We are looking for a Facility Support Specialist to join our team in Richmond. As a Facility Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to department managers, ensuring seamless daily operations and efficient data transmission.

You will maintain and support all office functions, including facility paper flow, complete and accurate documentation, and electronic data transmission. You will also interface with facility managers, regional managers, leads, associates, I.S., and Finance Departments, transportation representatives, and customers with day-to-day operations and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist department/account/terminal managers with daily production paperwork and data transmission needs.
  • Maintains and supports all office functions; such as ensuring facility paper flow, complete and accurate documentation and electronic data transmission.
  • Interfaces with and assists facility managers, regional managers, leads, associates, I.S. and Finance Departments, transportation (rail & truck) representatives and customers with day to day operations and special projects.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated skills with MS Office, including intermediate to advanced Excel and intermediate Access skills.
  • Knowledge of internal and customer computer applications.
  • Able to read and understand SDS.

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience.
