Production Assistant

MMQCI is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team in Saco, Maine. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacture of high-quality products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble small tubes, bottles, and caps using aseptic technique in a laminar flow cabinet.
- Accurately and quickly align labels on small tubes and bottles by hand.
- Prepare, print, and precisely fold product inserts for customer products.
- Kitting: quickly and precisely align labels on small kit boxes and place appropriate tubes or bottles in the kit box following written instructions.
- Assist in product filling by performing staging, opening, and closing tubes pre- and post-filling.
- Perform support functions as needed, including autoclaving consumables, inventorying supplies, and assisting in packaging and shipping of customer products.
- Document all work with 100% accuracy in a timely manner by recording lot numbers, dates, and other relevant information.
- High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus.
- Work experience in a laboratory setting as a Production Assistant or similar position requiring fine motor skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with working with DNA- and RNA-based products and/or in a clean room environment preferred.
- Ability to perform production procedures quickly but with stringent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, written and oral, and basic computer skills, including Excel.
- Experience in a GMP or ISO quality system industrial environment preferred.
- Must be a nonsmoker due to product contamination prevention requirements.
- Must have sufficiently accurate color vision to correctly identify various cap and text colors used for MMQCI products.
- Must be able to stand for several hours and lift approximately 30 lbs.
