Position Overview:


As a Mobile Technician at CBRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of various facilities through preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical systems, vehicles, and equipment.

This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, dedicated to delivering support, maintenance, and repair services for a range of systems and equipment.


Key Responsibilities:


• Manage maintenance and repair tasks for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to uphold facility standards.

• Assess work orders, estimate required time and materials, and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and tools.

• Implement preventive maintenance strategies to extend the lifespan of building machinery and systems, overseeing repairs and emergency maintenance as necessary.

• Conduct inspections of building and industrial systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, ensuring compliance with design capabilities and environmental conditions.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, regulations, and company policies related to building operations and safety.

• Operate company vehicles responsibly while fulfilling daily work obligations.

• Utilize advanced knowledge of industry principles and techniques to tackle complex tasks and offer innovative solutions.

• Mentor colleagues by sharing expertise in your discipline and demonstrating a broad understanding of related job functions.

• Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging consensus-building and effective communication.


Qualifications:


• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver's license are mandatory. Supervisory experience is preferred.

• Physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing various physical tasks.

• Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions based on diverse information sources.

• Open-mindedness to explore new perspectives on existing solutions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Excellent organizational skills paired with a proactive mindset.
