Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to join our team at GENERAL FABRICATIONS CORPORATION. As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of industrial electrician functions, including building custom electrical control panels, troubleshooting industrial electrical controls, and installing equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build custom electrical control panels in a panel shop environment based on engineering drawings.
  • Troubleshoot all types of industrial electrical controls.
  • Install and test electrical equipment at customer locations.
  • Conduct gas/burner diagnostics and adjustments.
  • Install and pull RMC and EMT conduit according to NEC and NFPA standards.
  • Read and modify wiring schematic diagrams in CAD.
  • Implement PLC/HMI/VFD automation controls.
  • Work with three-phase motor controls.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems and control panels.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
