Position:
Healthcare Administrative Assistant

Reports to:
Office Supervisor

Position Overview:
This full-time position is available for a Healthcare Administrative Assistant at our Rheumatology office. We are seeking a proactive, motivated, and positive individual to manage a busy office environment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role encompasses the Check-In and Check-Out processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare electronic charts prior to appointments
- Manage traffic at the front desk
- Collect and process payments
- Address tasks promptly
- Process medical record requests
- Assist with phone inquiries
- Support providers and patients at the conclusion of visits.

Physical and Mental Demands:
- Normal physical ability; capable of sitting for extended periods
- Standard concentration and decision-making complexity
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
- Above-average ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Occupational Exposure:
- Low risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards.

Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Strong team player
- Basic computer proficiency
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
