Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Banker II to join our team at Trustmark Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify customer needs and make referrals through proactive sales/service efforts
  • Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, cash management services, etc.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits and withdrawals, wire transfers, and loan payments
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer, with a focus on cash handling and security
  • Open, close, and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Meet and greet customers in a professional manner, providing exceptional customer service and reinforcing Trustmark's service standards
  • Potentially manage, coach, and provide training for other Relationship Bankers and/or Tellers, as well as manage scheduling and overtime
  • Process oversight and responsibility for reviewing and approving various transactions, including night drop contracts/logs, ATM deposits, and cash drawers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to meet sales goals in a retail environment
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn internal technology systems
  • Understanding of basic math concepts and principles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to display professional appearance and mannerisms
  • Minimum twelve (12) months face-to-face customer service experience and sales experience
  • Four-year college education or equivalent work experience preferred
