About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Lead Product Architect to join the Wealth & Investment Management Architecture team. This role will involve performing Product Architecture with a focus on Investment Management Servicing Product Domains and exhibiting leadership to drive a product vision. The successful candidate will translate business demands into product capabilities and develop a target architecture modernization roadmap that supports consumer/client consumption. They will work with Product Owners and Product Managers to assist on technical aspects of product design.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives with companywide scope

Assist in the creation of architectural artifacts for key technology initiatives related to Investment Management Data Domains

Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy

Identify medium to high architectural impacts from business needs

Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions

Communicate the companywide Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems-related teams

Make decisions in the development and maintenance of data product architectures

Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas

Ensure applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies, and industry best practices

Requirements:

5+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education

3+ years of experience creating strategy

Desirable Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of financial services and investment product management to produce product-based architectures

Experience with Cloud, Data, DevOps, Domain Driven Design, ArchiMate, Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF) fundamentals

Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management

Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Experience implementing and managing various data transfer approaches including file transfer, Change Data Capture, Pub/Sub, and streaming

Ability to develop roadmaps and plans that enable strategies

Experience with one or more Banking Lines of Business
