Instruction and Faculty Outreach Librarian

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instruction and Faculty Outreach Librarian to join our team at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. As a key member of our library staff, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant faculty outreach program and delivering user-centered instruction to students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective faculty outreach strategies to promote information literacy and support student success.
- Design and deliver high-quality instructional services and curricula to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate information literacy concepts into courses and develop innovative instructional materials.
- Provide expert reference and research support to students, faculty, and staff, utilizing a range of technologies and tools.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in library and information science, and apply this knowledge to improve instructional services and support.
- Master of Library Science degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution or equivalent.
- Experience or education demonstrating knowledge of information literacy instruction and faculty outreach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
