The Division of Family and Child Health (DFCH) oversees programs, policies, services, and environments that support physical and socio-emotional health. The Referral Specialist plays a vital role in processing referrals for the Early Intervention Program, ensuring the accuracy of information and creating electronic child files.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accepting and entering referrals into EI Systems
  • Providing technical support and answering inquiries related to area of work
  • Filing materials and retrieving filed information, as well as preparing materials for central copying
  • Maintaining professional conduct with internal staff and the public, while following procedures, policies, and systems in the office
