Funeral Sales Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Funeral Sales Representative to join our team at Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel. As a Funeral Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating quality leads, building relationships with clients, and providing exceptional service to families in need of funeral planning services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to attract new clients and grow our business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, funeral homes, and other industry professionals
- Provide exceptional service to families in need of funeral planning services, including preneed sales and funeral arrangements
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services to ensure we are offering the best possible solutions to our clients
- Collaborate with our team to achieve sales goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Current life insurance license or ability to obtain one
- 5+ years consultative sales experience in the funeral industry or a related field
- Strong interpersonal sales abilities, listening skills, and relationship development skills
- Ability to effectively close pre-set appointments and meet sales targets
- Excellent listening and persuasion skills, lead generation, and networking abilities
