RN Operating Room FT Evenings Position

This is a Full-Time position for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room department at Piedmont Medical Center.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate health care needs of patients assigned.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
- Float to other comparable nursing units as requested or needed.
- Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina.
- Attends IV Therapy training and/or demonstrates competency in intravenous therapy within one year.
- Maintains competency and/or certification specific to departmental requirements.
- Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- Advanced certification in specialty field and/or participation in professional organization(s) encouraged.
- Previous hospital experience.
- Management and teaching ability.
- Ability to assume the role of a Charge Nurse as needed/requested.
