Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Margarita M. Vendrell MD PA. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for performing routine administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Tasks:
    • Assist medical staff with patient intake, vaccine administration, sample collection and handling, and EKG administration.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Manage all administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Compile clinical order supplies and maintain accurate records.
    • Communicate with patients in a professional and timely manner regarding doctor's orders or patient inquiries.
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
    • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems, preferably with Athena.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask between clinical and administrative responsibilities.
    • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
