Delphinus Engineering is seeking a skilled Pipefitter III to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex pipe systems for various government Ship Repair projects and alterations.
Key Responsibilities- Lay out, assemble, and install pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using various tools.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.
- Inspect and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges and other methods.
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
- Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment following blueprints.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum years relevant experience on U.S. Navy ships
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the USA
- Must be able to access all work locations, including government and private shipyards and/or vessels
