**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Install, configure, and maintain database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
  • Ensure database security, including backups, access controls, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization.
  • Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions.
  • Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to support database design, development, and implementation.
  • Perform regular database capacity planning and scaling.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven at least 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization (PTO).
  • Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and security practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (Oracle DBA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator) are a plus.
