    • 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in the utility industry.
    • Understanding of basic principles of project management.
    Working Conditions

This is a hybrid role, requiring work from both remote and onsite locations. Employees should live within a reasonable commute to their designated Duke Energy facility.

Engineering Technologist I Specific Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent, or 4+ years of equivalent industry experience without a degree.
Engineering Technologist II Specific Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Either a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent, or 2+ years of experience and Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent, or 6+ years of equivalent experience without a degree.
