Medication Aide Role

As a Medication Aide at Sun Terrace Hermiston, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our senior residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with their daily needs, including medication administration, personal care, and social activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Participate in social-recreational activities to promote resident engagement and well-being
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the wellness director
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

  • 6 months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to compose reports in English
