Role of the Inventory Management Specialist involves acting as the primary liaison for customers within your designated area. You will assess the inventory levels of managed products, determining replenishment quantities based on predefined criteria. Additionally, you will restock items during your visits, fostering relationships with clients and keeping them informed about our latest offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel daily using a company vehicle to implement Vendor Managed Inventory solutions at client sites.
- Maintain optimal stock levels, create new orders, and secure customer approvals as necessary.
- Receive shipments, verify order accuracy, and organize stock at customer locations.
- Communicate effectively with sales representatives and supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of service equipment and work areas.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks to support the local warehouse.
Physical Requirements:
The Inventory Management Specialist must be capable of driving for extended periods and working in industrial settings. The role requires the ability to lift and transport boxes weighing approximately 50 lbs.
Position Details:
This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 60-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 40 hours per week.
Compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and relevant certifications. In addition to the base salary, the role is eligible for performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 401K, paid holidays, and vacation.
