Job Summary

TotalMed is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse-Neonatal to join our team for a travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility in San Diego, California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to neonates and their families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify, and prioritize patient needs, and develop effective interventions to address these needs.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • Experience working in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
