About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees and ensuring that our production facilities meet the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Safely prepare and apply cleaning solutions and sanitizers to all areas of the facility, including equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and performing minor repairs.
  • Waste Management: Segregate and compact recyclables, remove trash, and maintain a clean and organized waste management system.
  • Reporting and Communication: Identify and report any food safety and quality issues to Plant Management and SQFP, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of current cleaning methods, materials, and equipment, including chemical cleaning solutions, mops, buckets, wet and dry vacuum cleaners, ladders, and floor care machines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, and to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout an entire shift.
