Key Responsibilities:
  • Recharge, install, inspect, and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers
  • Learn and prepare to complete certifications required for this role
  • Work Monday to Friday, with flexibility for customer needs, including nights and weekends
  • Inspect fire extinguishers and kitchen systems according to safety standards
  • Fix restaurant fire systems made by top companies like ANSUL and Kidde
  • Know the rules for fire systems and extinguishers
  • Be ready to fix systems in emergencies
  • Find and report any safety problems
  • Write detailed reports and keep things organized
  • Be polite and helpful to customers
  • Keep your work area clean and safe
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Experience inspecting restaurant fire suppression systems, preferred
  • Hold a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, required
  • Consent for a background check upon acceptance of the offer letter
  • Demonstrated track record of being reliable and having a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing in English and the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented documentation skills (we use various online platforms such as Google Docs, Servicetrade, etc.)
  • Real-time problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
