Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing comprehensive and confidential investigations into suspected fraud cases.
  • Reviewing and analyzing evidence and documentation to understand the overall context of claims, culminating in a professional report with actionable recommendations.
  • Effectively managing a diverse and substantial caseload to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Examining financial records and related documentation to ascertain the occurrence of fraud.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in criminology, finance, welfare, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a fraud investigator within government agencies or financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable legislation concerning fraud, payroll fraud, white-collar crime, and other financial crime investigations.
  • Proficiency in analytics and report writing software; familiarity with case management software is advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
  • Outstanding research capabilities.
  • A determined approach to conducting thorough investigations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, senior management, and government entities.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
