Job Summary:
Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to residents in our subacute rehabilitation unit, helping them regain mobility and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on each resident's specific goals and needs.
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to improve strength, mobility, and functional independence.
Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation processes, exercises, and strategies for preventing injuries.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a passion for patient care and teamwork.
