Soy Process Laborer Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Soy Process Laborer to join our team at Perdue Farms. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate housekeeping equipment, including mowing, trimming, and sweeping machines.
  • Perform routine operator maintenance on housekeeping equipment.
  • Conduct routine housekeeping activities, such as painting, dusting, and shoveling.
  • Perform other labor tasks as directed by management.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; further education preferred.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and familiarity with process operations from a computer-based system.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotational shifts and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Work Environment:

Able to move freely throughout the agribusiness facilities, including climbing vertical heights, carrying tools and equipment (0-50 lbs.), exposure to temperatures (0-100°F), humidity (0-100%), noise (50db to 100db), and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
