Job Description

The Supplier Quality Engineer role at HarcoSemco is a critical position that requires a strong understanding of quality methods and systems, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of quality experience with a focus on supplier initiatives and auditing, as well as a strong knowledge of root cause analysis, 8D, and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead key processes including supplier audits, corrective action requests, and performance ratings
  • Work with technical groups to define supplier specifications and monitor quality performance
  • Analyze suppliers' quality performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Manage supplier non-conformances and perform root cause analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of quality experience with a focus on supplier initiatives and auditing
  • Strong knowledge of quality methods and systems, including statistics, reliability, and sampling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
