- Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting findings to the veterinarian.
- Support emergency cases as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and logs.
- Advise pet owners on health and nutrition.
- Educate clients on medications and care practices.
- Conduct clinical diagnostics.
- Assist in medical procedures, including specimen collection and laboratory tests.
Collaboration:
- Provide input for continuous improvement of the practice.
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives.
- Effectively triage emergency cases.
- Ensure patient records are up-to-date with vaccinations and tests.
- Document all observations and treatments in medical notes.
- Maintain cleanliness in treatment areas and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of veterinary experience is necessary.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
