Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Technician to join our team at The Steadman Clinic. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in the innovative patient care provided by our physicians. Your primary responsibilities will include interacting with patients to collect blood samples, processing blood into requested products, and delivering these products to physicians in the clinic or operating room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and process blood or bone marrow into necessary components following written SOPs.
  • Ensure that all patient documentation is collected and up to date according to clinical protocols.
  • Maintain laboratory instrumentation and devices according to established protocols.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all medical, financial, or other sensitive materials and maintain the privacy of patients.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • IV Certification, preferred. Can enroll in IV Certification upon hire if not currently certified.
  • Laboratory experience preferred.
  • EMT certification preferred.
  • IV administration and Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights preferred.
