About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Bush Veterinary Neurology Service in Richmond, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and working closely with our board-certified neurologists.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia and post-operative care
  • Work closely with our neurologists to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
  • At least two years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, with a strong foundation in anesthesia and surgical procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bush Veterinary Neurology has four locations across two states, providing same-day life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management. Our hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI, and more. Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries, and our veterinary technicians play a vital role in patient care, diagnostic imaging, and assisting doctors in surgery.
