Bush Veterinary Neurology is a leading provider of neurology services in the region, with four locations across two states. Our clinics are staffed by board-certified neurologists who provide same-day life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in veterinary technology, with a focus on anesthesia and surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and working collaboratively with our neurology team.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration
- Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia and post-operative care
- Work collaboratively with our neurology team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
- Current and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
- At least two years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, with a focus on anesthesia and surgery
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
