Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our neurology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our board-certified neurologists in delivering high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities- Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia and post-operative care
- Conduct venipuncture, place IV catheters, and administer medications as needed
- Take vital signs, observe patient behavior, and document changes in condition
- Provide high-quality medical and nursing care to patients
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations
- Current and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
- At least two years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, or one year as an LVT and two years as a Veterinary Assistant
- Extensive experience with anesthesia, venipuncture, and catheters
- Excellent communication, patient care, and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations
