Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement community wellness education programs that meet the needs of our diverse population.
- Collaborate with our management team to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Provide health education programs on a regular basis, including screenings and education based on test results.
- Instruct health and wellness programs, utilizing effective group leadership skills.
- Participate in program training and demonstrate competency with program material and format.
- Schedule program classes with the management team.
- Keep attendance lists of participants and provide outcome information to designated personnel.
- Assist in developing new education programs based on community needs.
- Model appropriate behavior for class participants by maintaining a healthy, positive, and upbeat attitude.
- Seek answers to participant questions and report back to them.
- Participate in health fairs, educational presentations, and other community health and well-being activities as requested.
- Attend department staff meetings and participate in process improvement.
- Utilize computer programs as appropriate for assigned tasks.

- A strong background in health education and community wellness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
