Job Title: Loan Officer

At NOVA Home Loans, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and process mortgage loans, including gathering and analyzing customer information, determining loan eligibility, and preparing loan documents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including communicating with customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures, including those related to loan origination, underwriting, and closing.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and closing, to ensure smooth loan processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to ensure the highest level of expertise and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage loan industry, with a strong background in loan origination and processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
