Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

My Place Hotel is seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Front Desk Supervisor. This position offers a wide range of responsibilities, including the supervision of full-time and part-time personnel, such as guest service representatives, lead room attendants, housekeepers, and maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Hotel Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including managing staff, handling guest complaints, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Sales: Promote hotel services and amenities to guests, increasing revenue and enhancing the overall guest experience.
  • Shift Flexibility: Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and overnights, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other hotel software systems.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and management.
  • Multi-Tasking and Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
