Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Apprentice to join our team at Summit Fire & Security. As a Fire Alarm Apprentice, you will assist our experienced Fire Alarm Superintendents in the installation of fire alarm systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the installation of fire alarm systems, including conduit, low-voltage wiring, control panels, and other equipment.
- Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Assist in the development of working knowledge of fire alarm and special hazards installation.
- Learn and understand NFPA 72 and NEC 70 codes and regulations.
- Participate in weekly toolbox talks and adhere to SFS's Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies, and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0 years of experience in the fire life safety industry, specifically in fire alarm, required.
- 1+ years of professional computer skills.
- Ability to learn and develop working knowledge of fire alarm and special hazards installation.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
