We are seeking a seasoned Software Project Manager Lead to join our team at Symplast LLC, a leader in Mobile Practice Management for Aesthetic and Medspa Software.

This is a great opportunity for a project manager who is excited by mitigating risks and managing unforeseen circumstances in a fast-changing environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the development, organization, and team delivery aspect of our projects. They will break it down into modular parts, design the workflow, distribute tasks amongst the team, and be responsible for contracts, budgets, and timeframes. This role is responsible for the overall performance, motivation, and organization of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule work for development teams to include coordinating with stakeholders, enforcing priorities, raising issues, and communicating delays.
  • Manage resource allocation across projects and teams (engineering, quality assurance, etc.).
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong communications skills, and a deep desire to deliver for clients. They will work closely with product managers and lead engineers to help remove roadblocks and bottlenecks.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of IT resource/project management experience within a software development environment.
  • Experience driving and being accountable for successful project delivery within a matrix organization.
  • Working knowledge of basic software development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
  • Experience with .NET Core / Azure / microservices; SQL, MySQL, CosmosDB Databases, MassTransit, Azure Service Bus.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
