We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Administrator to join our team at KLM Careers. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of our virtual environment, ensuring the security and compliance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere environment
  • Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of client systems to identify and resolve issues
  • Provide technical support to clients through on-call schedule and root cause analysis
  • Participate in planning and implementing infrastructure upgrades and migrations
  • Create and maintain documentation for system-related processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with VMware or Nutanix virtualization platforms
  • Prior experience in performing server migrations between data centers, ideally involving a transition from VMware to Azure Cloud
  • Proven track record of managing Office 365 suite and overseeing Azure environments
  • Experience working with networking devices, scripting, and automation tools
  • Certifications in Azure and VMware are a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in providing desktop support to end-users
  • Scripting and automation proficiency in languages like PowerShell, Python, or similar tools

Please note that this is a full-time position, and we require the candidate to reside in Kentucky or be willing to relocate upon acceptance of the job offer. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
