Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a Hospice Aide. As a CNA, you will provide personal care services to patients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. Responsibilities- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with prescribed exercises and activities, as instructed by the nurse or therapist.
- Perform and record simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
- Observe, report, and document any changes in patient status, and follow specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care.
- Perform homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements.
- CNA experience within the last two years. If it has been more than two years, you must complete another training and competency program before providing services.
- Must be able to successfully pass the competency program of the care center.
- Current CPR certification.
