As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to coordinate and participate in a variety of technical tasks, tests, and determinations involving the utilization of radioactive materials and measurement instrumentation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and participate in technical procedures, including in vivo and in vitro studies, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Operate radiation detection and measurement instrumentation, including stationary imaging devices, scintillation gamma, and apparatus for in vitro counting.
  • Calibrate and draw up radiopharmaceutical materials for administration to patients, formulate radiopharmaceutical materials from pre-prepared kits, and review calibration data to detect trends indicating instrument malfunction.
  • Evaluate recorded images for technical quality, process computerized image data, and explain the procedure to patients.
  • Assume care for physical and psychological needs of patients of all ages during an examination, initiate life support measures if necessary, and perform IV, EKG prep, and tracing.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, with experience in Cardiology.
Work Environment:

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
