Job Description

**Job Summary**

The Warehouse Team Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse at Royal Fresh Cuts. This individual will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to oversee timely receipts and shipments, maintain inventory transaction controls, and provide training and development for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate support teams and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure seamless logistics.
  • Transact shipments and receipts in Business Central and JIT support systems in real-time to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist in the implementation and smooth operation of Warehouse Management Systems, providing feedback and troubleshooting as needed to optimize warehouse efficiency.
  • Ensure support teams follow inventory transaction processes to optimize accuracy and minimize discrepancies, maintaining high levels of quality control.
  • Report variances and errors to supervisor and inventory control teams to address any issues promptly.
  • Assist in tracing and correcting inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and Food Safety standards to create a secure and compliant working environment, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and improve pick accuracy, shipment accuracy, and receipt accuracy through KPI's and continuous improvement initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Train and mentor new warehouse team members, ensuring they adhere to best practices and safety protocols to maintain a high level of professionalism.

  • Ability to manage a project from its initiation to completion with minimal direction and supervision, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
  • Capable of working without direction, taking initiative to drive results and achieve goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field preferred, with a focus on detail-oriented and multitasking skills.
  • Highly skilled on Standup Forklift and Electric Pallet jack, with a strong understanding of warehouse equipment and operations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, ensuring high-quality results and minimizing errors.

Working Conditions

  • Able to work in a noisy, wet, and cold environment of approximately 34-38 degrees Fahrenheit, with a focus on safety and comfort.
  • Work between two warehouses and around moving equipment, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 lbs. required, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance.
  • Be able to sit, walk, bend, push, and pull, with a focus on physical mobility and flexibility.

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
