Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Sales Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers in navigating their cannabis purchasing journey while ensuring exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and verify required identification upon entry.
- Assist customers with inquiries and necessary documentation; update customer profiles in the point of sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area and waiting space during slower periods.
- Provide education on cannabis products and help customers select the right options based on their needs.
- Efficiently process online orders and manage curbside pickups in compliance with regulations.
- Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management as necessary.
- Stay informed about cannabis trends and product knowledge.
- Utilize and maintain the POS system accurately.
- Conduct deliveries as required and adhere to cash handling protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and product intake as needed.
- Follow all company policies and state regulations regarding dispensary operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with information technology.
- Previous experience in a retail or cannabis environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Understanding of various cannabis products and their benefits.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.
