Job Description

Vail Resorts is seeking a talented Marketing Senior Director to lead the Resort Marketing Team: Rockies. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving visitation growth and revenue across our six Mountain Resorts in the Rockies region through the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies. This role requires a strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $168,720 - $215,500 + annual bonus + equity. In addition to a competitive salary, Vail Resorts offers a range of benefits, including ski passes for employees, employee discounts on lodging, food, gear, and mountain shuttles, 401(k) Retirement Plan, Employee Assistance Program, and excellent training and professional development opportunities.

About the Role
This senior-level position requires a minimum of 10 years of total work experience, with 5+ years in marketing or brand management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a brand or portfolio of brands with performance and P&L accountability, as well as experience leading and developing high-performing teams. A Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business management or related field is required, while an MBA is preferred. Destination marketing experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Senior Director will be responsible for:
• Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive visitation growth and revenue across the six Mountain Resorts in the Rockies region
• Leading a team of marketers to create engaging content, campaigns, and experiences that resonate with our target audience
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as Communications, Mountain Operations, and 3rd party vendors, to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives
• Analyzing market trends, guest insights, and business data to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing efforts
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners, including community marketing partners and creative agencies

• Proven ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
• Experience working with budgets and financial planning
