About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide essential support in delivering speech and language services to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Screening: Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Therapy Implementation: Implement therapy activities and interventions under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Student Support: Support students, either individually or in small groups, to enhance speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.
  • Treatment Planning: Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans in coordination with the supervising SLP.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, teachers, parents, and other team members.
  • Resource Preparation: Contribute to the preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in communication sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Certification: Completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program and state certification or licensure as required by regulations.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from licensed professionals.
